By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the services.

3. The service

We provide software tools for creative and practical work, including:

• Name Craft — generates character and place names for fiction writers and storytellers.
• Recipe Craft — helps home cooks create, refine, and cook recipes through conversation, step-by-step guidance, and a personal cookbook.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

4. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keep your login details secure.
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

You may delete your account at any time using the in-app controls in Name Craft or Recipe Craft.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the text you enter into the service.

By using the service, you grant The Digital Foundry Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to process your content solely to:

• Provide and operate the service.
• Store and display your search history, saved recipes, and cookbook content.
• Improve functionality and reliability.
• Provide customer support.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. AI-generated content

The service generates content using automated and AI-based systems.

You acknowledge that:

• Generated content may not be unique.
• We do not guarantee originality, accuracy, or suitability for any purpose.
• You are solely responsible for how generated content is used, including legal and copyright considerations.

Prohibited AI training use
You may not use the service or any generated content to train, fine-tune, or improve third-party artificial intelligence or machine learning models, whether commercial or non-commercial, without our prior written consent.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the service.
• Use the service to generate harmful, abusive, or infringing content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Some features of Name Craft and Recipe Craft require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions:

• Are processed through the Apple App Store.
• Renew automatically unless cancelled.
• Can be managed and cancelled through your Apple account settings.

Recipe Craft also offers a free tier with limited recipe generation. Saved recipes remain accessible without a subscription.

Pricing, billing cycles, and refunds are governed by Apple's App Store terms and policies.

9. Intellectual property

All software, design, branding, and content provided by us, excluding user content, remain the property of The Digital Foundry Inc.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Digital Foundry Inc. shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
• Loss of data, profits, or business.
• Any reliance on AI-generated content.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

If you access the service from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. These Terms are intended to apply worldwide.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
